Privacy policy

This policy explains what TotaledRight ("we", "us") collects through totaledright.com and how we use it. TotaledRight is operated by Aubrey Greene, a sole proprietor in Texas, doing business as TotaledRight. Contact: [email protected].

What we collect

• Waitlist. If you join the waitlist, we store your email address and the date you joined.
• Free check and reports (once launched). The information you enter or upload: VIN, mileage, ZIP code, trim, options, condition, the insurer's offer, and the insurer valuation report you paste or upload (which can include your name, address, claim number and insurer). For the paid report, your name and email address.
• Payments. Payments are processed by Stripe. We receive confirmation of payment and limited details such as your email address and the last four digits of your card. We never see or store full card numbers. See Stripe's privacy policy.
• Technical data. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes IP addresses and request logs to deliver and secure the site. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

How we use it

• To run the free check, generate your report and letter, and email it to you.
• To send one message when we launch (waitlist), and service messages about your order.
• To prevent fraud and abuse, keep records required for tax and accounting, and fix problems.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.

Who we share it with

• Service providers that run the service for us: hosting (Cloudflare and our application host), payments (Stripe), and email delivery.
• Vehicle data sources. Your VIN is sent to the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration's free vPIC decoder. To find comparable vehicles, we send the year, make, model, trim, mileage and ZIP code (not your name) to our listings data provider.
• Legal reasons, if required by law or to protect our rights.

We never send anything to your insurer. You decide what to send.

How long we keep it

Proposed: uploaded insurer reports and free-check inputs are deleted within 30 days; paid reports are kept for 1 year so you can re-download them, unless you ask us to delete them sooner; order and payment records are kept as long as tax law requires. Waitlist emails are deleted after launch or when you unsubscribe. [Confirm before launch.]

Your choices

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your information, or unsubscribe, by emailing [email protected]. We'll respond within 45 days.

Security

We use HTTPS, restricted access, and reputable providers. No system is perfectly secure.

Children

The service is for adults dealing with their own insurance claims. It is not directed to children under 13.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the effective date on this page.
